The world is a vast and beautiful place, and we love discovering it vicariously through Instagram. Not only are the pictures gorgeous, but also it provides us with new bucket list ideas, teaches us about different cultures, and helps us consider what destinations may be more welcoming to LGBTQ+ couples. While Alexa and I love to travel, we consider ourselves to be more color hunters over travel bloggers, so we’ve rounded up 10 of our favorite LGBTQ+ travel bloggers that you need to be following in 2019.
1. Onceuponajrny
Roxanne and Maartje’s feed is filled with the most dreamy photos from their travels around the world. They are pros at capturing magical moments. We love following their travels and reading about their adventures on their blog which is full of amazing tips for traveling as an LGBTQ+ couple.
2. Deeristravelling
Aon and Lan bring so much color to our feed. We love seeing their posts and reading about their travels. They are experts at capturing the amazing colors and textures of all the uniquely wonderful places they visit and have us planning a trip to Thailand ASAP! They also write about all of their travel on their blog which you can find here.
3. 27travels
Gabi and Shanna have some of the most amazing photos! They fill our feed with vibrant colors of the tropics balanced with everyday moments from their life in NYC. We’ve loved virtually tagging along with them as they’ve explored Italy, Curacao, and most recently the Philippines (and so many more places)! And to top it all off, these ladies are just so friendly and down to earth and are the embodiment of a power couple, with one being a kick ass photographer and the other a videographer. Don’t forget to check out their youtube channel and their newly launched blog!
4. lezseetheworld
Steph and Kaitlin are a married couple who travel full time for work and for fun! They are two of the kindest individuals we’ve ever (virtually) met. Not only do they share their travels with us via Instagram, but they also blog about their adventures. One of our favorite things about this account are their story highlights. They put together super handy plant-based restaurant guides for a number of cities that they have visited! They also coordinate and host LGBT Meetups!
5. traveling_hubbys
Milo and Julian are traveling the world together and sharing their journey with us via some drool-worthy photos. So far, they’ve visited 70 countries together, and we can’t wait to see where these boys go next.
6. gfswhotravel
Lex & Tatiana are NYC based travelers/YouTubers who document their adventures on Instagram. We love their aesthetic and always make a point to watch their videos on their youtube channel. We love watching their Instagram stories and especially enjoy their Sunday Aesthetic Inspo series.
7. travel_therainbow
Elin and Paula are currently road tripping their way across Australia. We love seeing their photos which are always the perfect balance of beachy vibes and lovely couple moments. We love the photos and also appreciate how much thought they put into their captions.
8. thehikinghusbands
Jordan and Daniel are an amazing pair of hikers who share some truly amazing photos of the dramatic landscapes they hike together. We’ve loved seeing their photos from the places they’ve hiked like Sedona, Zion and Bryce Canyon. They are so creative with their photos and have definitely given us the hiking bug!
9. Our.taste.for.life
Charlotte and Natalie are travel bloggers who are spreading love, kindness, and positivity as they travel the world and blog about their experiences. Their photos are seriously epic and we love seeing them pop up on our feed and getting to interact with them.
10. Lesploretheworld
Syaan and Julia are a sweet down-to-earth couple who met in Spain and have been traveling around the world together. They take us on their travels with them through the photos they post and give us insight into their life together as world travelers.
